Truman was part of a joint research project 2015-2016 which sought to collate contextual information about three African Churches in Leeds. Aimed at students, academics and the local community, the aim of this research was to raise local and academic awareness of lived religion in Leeds. This project was also a way of opening research relationships for future projects led by project supervisor Dr. Adriaan Van Klinken
