On Thursday night our CRP intern, Holly Krober, and Centre for Religion and Public Life lecturer Rachel Muers went to The Religion, Heritage & Culture event at Ralph Thoresby school.

It was a very vibrant night with lots of different religious and cultural organisations from across Leeds represented. We learnt a lot about various organisations we hadn't heard before, such as the Arabic Christian Fellowship and TORCH Trust, a Christian organisation that helps people with sight and hearing loss. Along with that, pupils made food and performed a variety of music from their own cultural backgrounds which was very enjoyable.

The students were very enthusiastic about learning how the Community Religions Project contribute to researching religion in the locality, which was fantastic- our free handouts are nearly gone!

Thank you very much for having us, Ralph Thoresby!
